Džbán Reservoir: swimming, leisure area and wake park near Divoká Šárka

Džbán Reservoir is one of Prague’s classic summer water spots, close to Divoká Šárka and easy to reach by public transport. It is more of a natural urban reservoir than a polished swimming pool.

The important thing is to understand the current setup. The old northern swimming area is not something to rely on automatically. The more practical option today is the south bank, with a seasonal leisure area and Wake Park Džbán. There you can find basic facilities, refreshments, toilets, showers and water-sport activities.

Why visit

Džbán is useful if you want water, grass, views and a quick escape from the city. It has a looser, more natural atmosphere than a standard pool, with the bonus of wakeboarding and Divoká Šárka nearby.
