The Moselle Valley is Luxembourg’s wine region and one of its easiest areas for relaxed travel, with river towns, vineyards, terraces and cross-border views.

Trips and nature

The landscape is softer and sunnier than much of the country, with vineyards, riverbanks, orchards and cycling paths along the Moselle.

Food and atmosphere

Wine culture is central here, especially white wines and sparkling crémant. Small towns and river villages give the region a calm local feel.

Transport and stay

Buses and roads follow the valley, and cycling is popular. A car helps for wineries and villages, though public transport is still useful.
