Who it suits

Traily Vír is a natural trail area in the Svratka valley around Vír and Vír Reservoir. It is not a lift-served bikepark, but a hilly biking region with built trail sections, natural lines, XC routes and gravel options.

It suits active mountain bikers, enduro riders, e-bike users and gravel riders who do not mind steep climbs. Complete beginners should start carefully and choose easier routes.

Trails

The official trail list includes Havlův trail TR 1, 0.72 km, intermediate, with 100 m of descent. Sokolí Trail TR 2 is 0.93 km, intermediate, with 113 m of descent. Trail Končiny TR 3 is 1 km and listed as easy, with 130 m of descent.

The harder enduro sections include Havlův Trail EN 1, Sokolí Trail EN 2 and Sokolí Trail EN 3. These are short but very difficult and aimed at experienced riders.

Klubačice Wilderness trail is 0.77 km, intermediate, and Zubštejn Wilderness trail is listed by regional tourism as 3.70 km and easier.

XC, gravel and e-bike

Vír is not just about short enduro trails. The wider area offers XC, road and gravel loops around Vír Reservoir, Karasín, Dalečín, Zubštejn and the Svratka valley. E-bikes make sense here because the climbs are genuinely steep.

Facilities

The area links to Adrex Base Camp, which has been described as an information centre, service point, rental, equipment shop, restaurant and accommodation base. Check current opening and availability before travelling.

Prices and operation

No standard official trail entry fee was clearly listed at the last check. Kudy z nudy lists the trail season from April to October and a typical visit time of about 2.5 hours.

Getting there

Head to Vír in Žďár nad Sázavou District. Public transport should be planned via Bystřice nad Pernštejnem, Nedvědice or nearby villages. Always check bike carriage.

Watch out

The terrain is steep, natural and technical in places. Wear a helmet, bring repair gear and avoid technical sections after rain.
