Reiteralm is known as a Schladming-Dachstein winter mountain, but in summer it becomes a polished bike area between a family flow park and a proper enduro day. The Preunegg Jet gondola carries bikes uphill, while the descents roll past alpine meadows with views toward the Dachstein. It feels less raw than a pure downhill park, but it works extremely well for repeated runs and a full day outside.
The official offer lists 21 kilometres of singletrack and enduro trails. Names such as Schnepfenwald Trail, Holzer Trail, Eiskar Trail, Route 66, Jump Trail, Gassl Trail and Buckelwald Trail make it clear this is a network of different moods rather than one long bike slope. Beginners and families can use the Junior Trails with two short lines, a conveyor belt and children’s bike rental, while stronger riders link longer and faster combinations.
A useful bonus is the ticket link: the Reiteralm bike ticket is also valid at Bikepark Planai according to the official tariff page. With enough time and transport, one day can become a broader taste of Bikeland Schladming. For a first visit, however, it is smarter to stay on Reiteralm, progress through the blue and red lines and keep time for hut breaks.
Reiteralm is a strong compromise for couples, families and groups where one rider wants jumps and another mainly wants smooth trail time. Protection, weather and current lift operation still matter, because even a flow trail changes after an alpine storm. The rental and bike school near the Preunegg Jet make a no-equipment trip easier, but bike availability and prices should be checked before travelling.
