La Pinilla is a mountain resort in the Sierra de Ayllón that feels very different from the big Alpine parks. It is drier, rockier and more compact, but that gives it a clear identity: trails use the old ski slopes and forest edges, with fast sections, jumps and braking zones where confidence matters.

Shape the day around heat and lift operation. Mornings are usually better for warming up; by afternoon the surface can be dustier and fatigue arrives faster. Downhill protection makes sense even for experienced riders: full-face helmet, pads and well-prepared tyres are not just decoration here.
La Pinilla is not about a long panoramic mountain tour. It is a practical, raw bike park for training and fun, easy to combine with Riaza, nearby villages and a short escape from the hot inland plateau.
