Kronplatz Bike Park is one of South Tyrol’s major gravity addresses. It is not a small fenced woodland park, but a broad mountain area above Bruneck where 18 trails spread from the summit with different moods: fast flow, technical forest sections, roots, berms and hand-built features.
Variety is its strength. Riders can start on smoother lines, build speed gradually and move toward steeper or more technical sections that demand confident cornering and braking. Kronplatz also works well within a longer Puster Valley holiday with bike hotels, rentals, guiding and classic MTB tours outside the park.
The official 2026 summer season runs from 16 May to 8 November. Day and multi-day Kronplatz tickets include bike and paraglider transport, useful if you want to combine bike-park laps with summit viewpoints, museums or a slower stop on the mountain.
Remember that Kronplatz is a big mountain, not an urban pump track. Weather, lift status and fatigue after repeated descents can quickly change the plan. Download the official bike map before riding, check lift operation and use proper protection.
