Who it suits

Camp Dolce works well for families, caravans and classic tent stays. Its biggest strength is the mix of water, a spacious site and proper facilities, so it feels practical rather than improvised.

What to expect

The site lies by a recreational reservoir with a grassy beach. The official website lists a restaurant, kiosks, playgrounds, sports areas, laundry, a basic shop and a covered outdoor kitchen. In the main season, there is also water sports rental by the beach.

Booking and season

The campsite is officially open from 1 April to 31 October. One detail worth knowing: according to the FAQ, camping pitch reservations are only possible for stays of 7 nights or more. For shorter stays, it is better to stay flexible.

Swimming and water quality

Dolce is an officially monitored bathing site, which is a plus. Still, before swimming, it is worth checking the latest public health update for the current season.

Watch out

In July, August and on hot weekends, expect a lively family-camp atmosphere rather than silence. Pets are allowed, but they should stay on a leash. Without a car, the camp is still reachable from Trutnov on the blue-marked route.
